Principal Frank Lay

Principal Frank Lay thought it was normal of him to ask his faculty to promote Christianity at all events. It wasn't a surprise then when he asked one of the athletic directors to say grace at a luncheon. The federal judge accused him of violating a court order of not promoting personal religious views. I believe that Lay did violate the first amendment of freedom of religion because by promoting Christianity, that meant casting all other views aside. I believe he should be punished for trying to run his school in a religious matter when it's a public school. I also believe that if he wanted to promote his religious views, he could of made a club that was acceptable, or he should have silently worshiped his God in his way.
